How to use Unicode with Korean Partner v2000


Follow the steps below to use Korean Partner version 2000 with a Unicode-based word processor such as MS Word 97/2000:

1. Copy some of the Unicode fonts from the KP v2000 CD to your hard disk. (All TwinBridge Unicode fonts are prefixed with "TSC.")  Go to Control Panel>>Fonts. Click View and then click Refresh to activate the fonts. Keep the check mark in front of “Enable Korean Display in English Font” during the installation. (Figure 1.)

2. From KP v2000 Control Center select an input method such as Hangul. (Figure 2)

  3. Enable “Post Unicode to Office 97/2000.” (Figure 3)

4. Select a Korean font prefixed with TSC from the Font list of MS Word 97/2000 -- such as TSC KrnGungsuh. (Figure 4)

5. You can now start to insert Korean characters.
