How to Use Korean Partner 2000 (Tutorial)

Korean Partner itself is not a word processor, but it enables the input, display, and output of Korean characters in Windows applications (such as MS Word). The following are instructions on how to input Korean in a document.

1.      Start an Application

Start an application such as MS Word, WordPad, or Excel that you intend to use for Korean input. In this tutorial, we will use MS Word 2000 as an example. To start MS Word 2000, click the MS Word2000 program from the Start>>Programs menu.

2.      Start Korean Partner 2000

Click Start>>Programs>>TwinBridge Korean Partner 2000, and then click the Korean Partner 2000 icon  to start TwinBridge Korean system. When activated, the Korean Partner displays its Control Center as a floating button group. 3.      Activate Input Prompt Line

Click the input switch button (figure 2) on the Control Center to activate the Input Prompt Line (figure 3). The default input method is Hangul, which is also the one we will use in this test. Make sure that the "add space" button  is pressed, i.e. activated (with white background shown on the button). Or you may use hotkey Alt + ¬ to bring up the Input Prompt Line.
